Questions, answered
What is free, and is it really free forever?
Yes. Basic costs $0 forever with no card needed. It includes the dashboard, PC scan, AI recommendations, General Windows tweaks, process reduction, network diagnostics, Performance Insights, Game Profiles (detect, recommend and restore) and all backup and Undo tools.
How does the 7-day Apex free trial work?
It starts only after you press the trial button and confirm. No credit card, no automatic charge. One trial per account and PC. You must be online for the license check while it runs.
What happens when the trial or my subscription ends?
New Apex changes lock. Nothing you already applied is silently removed, and Backups, Restore points and Undo stay free and available. You can renew any time.
Can I cancel Apex?
Yes, any time from the billing portal in your account. Access runs until the end of the period you paid for.
Is BigLou's AI Assistant part of Apex?
No. The AI Assistant is a separate website subscription: AI Free with daily limits, and AI Premium at $20 a month with higher limits. Apex is the Windows optimizer subscription at $10 a month.
Is it safe? Will it break my PC or get me banned?
Every change is backed up first and can be undone. BigLou never disables Defender, Windows Update or your firewall and never touches anti-cheat software or game files. Results vary by PC, drivers and game; no FPS or latency improvement is guaranteed.
What about refunds?
Apex and AI Premium are digital services, so payments are generally non-refundable once access has been activated. This does not limit any refund or cancellation rights you have under the law where you live. See the Terms for details.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 10 and Windows 11. Some tweaks are marked for one version only.
