Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BigLou's Optimizer website at biglousoptimizations.com, your BigLou account, the BigLou's Optimizer Windows software, and the website AI Assistant (together, the "Service").

You accept these Terms when you create an account, install or use the software, or otherwise use the Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

Subject to these Terms, BigLou's Optimizer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software on a supported 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC for your own use. The software is licensed, not sold.

The software is distributed in two Windows editions, AI Optimization Center and Performance Lab. The features available to you depend on your plan, as described on the Pricing page.

Using the software to service computers for other people or businesses, or deploying it across an organization, is not included in this license unless we agree to it in writing.

Basic is free and includes the features listed as Basic on the Pricing page. Apex is a paid monthly subscription that unlocks the features listed as Apex. We may change which features belong to each plan in future versions. Changes you have already applied are not removed when a plan changes, and Undo and restore controls remain available.

Eligible accounts can start a 7-day Apex trial. The trial begins only when you choose to start it and confirm. No credit card is required, and you are not charged automatically when the trial ends.

• One trial is available per account and per PC (Hardware ID).
• The trial period is measured by our servers, not by your PC clock.
• An online check is required while you apply Apex features during the trial.
• When the trial ends, new Apex changes lock; Undo and restore controls remain available.

The software generates a Hardware ID for your PC from processor and motherboard identifiers, as described in the Privacy Policy. We use it to tie licensing and the free trial to a computer. Customer accounts are currently limited to one registered PC.

If you replace or substantially upgrade your PC, contact support so your license can be moved to the new computer. Using one account on several PCs, or sharing account credentials to do so, is not permitted and may cause activation to fail or the account to be restricted.

You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and for all activity under your account. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, so support cannot read your password. If you lose access, use Forgot password on the sign-in page, or contact support and we may ask you to verify account ownership before making changes.

Apex is currently $10 USD per month, charged by card through Stripe. The current price is always shown on the Pricing page and at checkout before you pay. The website AI Assistant premium plan is a separate monthly subscription with its own price shown at checkout.

You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal available from your account. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. When your paid access ends, Apex features lock as described in the plans section above.

Apex is a digital service that is available as soon as it is activated, so payments are generally non-refundable once Apex access has been activated on your account. This does not limit any refund or cancellation rights you have under the law where you live.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact support and we will review it. You may also dispute a charge with your card issuer or bank. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it quickly. If a payment is reversed, we may suspend Apex access for the affected subscription while the dispute is reviewed.

You agree not to:

• access accounts, servers, or databases without authorization, or interfere with the Service;
• circumvent, disable, or tamper with licensing, trial, or integrity protections;
• use the Service to harm others or to break the law;
• misuse the AI Assistant, including attempting to extract secrets or abuse usage limits.

The software, website, documentation, and BigLou's Optimizer branding belong to BigLou's Optimizer or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. You keep ownership of your own content and data.

Without our written permission you must not:

• redistribute, publish, or resell the software, installers, or license access;
• sell, trade, or share accounts or license credentials;
• distribute modified or bypassed versions of the software;
• decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the software, except to the extent applicable law gives you a right that cannot be waived.

We may restrict access and pursue the remedies available to us under applicable law if these rules are broken.

Each documented tweak lists what it changes in the Documentation. Some changes need administrator permission or a restart. Do not apply changes you do not understand, and read the notes shown for advanced items. We do not guarantee any FPS, latency, or stability improvement.

The software records original values before it changes them and provides Undo, Undo All, and restore-point tools. You remain responsible for backing up important data. We strongly recommend creating a Windows restore point before making significant changes.

Recovery controls remain available after a trial or subscription ends.

Windows, drivers, games, launchers, browsers, and security software are provided by third parties and can change at any time. We do not guarantee that the software is compatible with any specific game, driver, or third-party product, and updates from those parties may affect how settings behave.

The software is designed to change documented Windows settings. It does not use cheat drivers, DLL injection, game-memory editing, or anti-cheat bypasses. Anti-cheat systems are controlled by game publishers and can change at any time, so we cannot guarantee that any particular game or anti-cheat accepts any Windows setting. Review each game's rules before using the software with it.

The AI Assistant provides general information about the software and Windows. It can be wrong or out of date. Check important details in the Documentation, and do not rely on it for legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Do not enter passwords, payment details, or other secrets.

How AI chat information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your particular system.

To the extent permitted by law, BigLou's Optimizer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

We may restrict or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if your use creates a security risk, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will consider the circumstances and tell you why. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

If you believe an action was taken in error, contact bigloustweakingoptimizations@gmail.com and ask for a review.

• Download the software only from biglousoptimizations.com and verify checksums if you wish.
• Keep your account details secure and your contact email current.
• Review what a setting does before applying it, and keep backups of important data.
• Follow the terms of your games, launchers, and other third-party software.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live, including any rights that cannot be waived by agreement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date and version at the top of this page show the current revision. If a change is material, we will give notice, for example on the website, by email, or in the software. If you continue to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
