Download it only from the official Download page on biglousoptimizations.com, then follow the steps in Download the official software and First-time setup. You can verify the file with the published SHA-256 checksum.
Yes. It is built for 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. Some individual tweaks need a newer Windows build, and the app marks a control unavailable on PCs that cannot support it. See Windows compatibility.
Sign in to the app with your BigLou account. Apex is tied to your account, which is limited to one registered PC. If Apex looks locked, see Login and license problems.
Switch the control off or use its Undo, or use Undo All to reverse everything BigLou changed. If Windows still misbehaves, use System Restore with the restore point you created. Then open a ticket and tell us which tweak you applied. See Failed or skipped optimizations.
The app captures original values before changing them and restores those exact values on Undo. Use Undo All for everything, Restore Previous Plan for your earlier power plan, or a Windows restore point. Undo and restore controls stay available even after an Apex trial or subscription ends. Note that cleanup-style actions, like removing apps, may not be fully reversible. See Restoring previous settings.
Open a ticket below and choose HWID Reset Request. Include your account username and, if you have it, your Hardware ID. Never send your password. Each account is limited to one registered PC, so a hardware change may need a reset.

Basic is free forever and includes the dashboard, PC scan, AI recommendations, General Tweaks, Start With Windows, Process Reduction, Network Diagnostics, Performance Insights, Game Profiles (detect, recommend and restore) and all backup and Undo tools. Apex is $10 per month and adds the full Game Booster and App Booster, Advanced Engine, advanced networking and DNS, debloating, verified registry, gaming Windows tweaks, the Apex power plan and priority support. BigLou's AI Assistant is a separate website subscription (AI Premium, $20 per month). A 7-day Apex trial is available once per account and per PC. The Pricing page is the source of truth.
