Failed or skipped optimizations

Why a change was not applied and what the app does about it.

  • Writes are read back and verified. If a selected write or its verification fails, the operation rolls back to the captured state.
  • Unsupported, experimental, manual, and missing-target controls are skipped and reported instead of being forced.
  • Some controls need administrator permission or a restart; the tweak reference lists each one.
  • Chrome preloading changes need Chrome fully closed, and a mandatory administrator policy is never overridden.

A skipped item usually means your PC, Windows version, or installed software does not support it. It is not an error you need to fix.
