Backup, Undo, and Windows restore points
How to reverse changes, including after Apex ends.
- The app captures original values before changing them and restores those exact values on Undo.
- Undo, Undo All, restore points, and registry recovery remain available even after an Apex trial or subscription ends.
- The app prompts you to create a Windows restore point; we strongly advise not skipping it.
- Create a Windows restore point before major changes.
- To reverse one change, switch the control off or use Undo.
- To reverse everything, use Undo All.
- If Windows misbehaves, use System Restore from Windows.
Cleanup-style actions (like removing apps) may not be fully reversible. Read each card before applying.
