Timer Resolution

0.5 ms or 1.0 ms timer requests.

Choose 0.5 ms or 1.0 ms and press Apply. Windows timer requests are process-scoped, so a startup task reopens the optimizer in the notification area and restores the saved request after sign-in.

A finer timer can increase power use. Undo or exiting the app releases it.
